The turbinates can frequently be hypertrophic and will have to be reduced during surgery by diatherm coagulation techniques or laser methods.
Types of Rhinoplasty

• Closed rhinoplasty: With invisible internal incisions, this technique is less invasive and indicated for limited modifications, to reduce the scarring outcome and therefore be able to predict the result more easily.
• Open Rhinoplasty: I use an incision on the columella for greater visibility and access to the internal structure of the nose, ideal for more complex cases, such as secondary cases that have already been operated on.
Procedure and Recovery
During your pre-operative consultation, I will carefully assess your expectations, preparing you as best as possible for the surgery. The operation can be performed under general or local anesthesia with sedation, depending on the complexity. After the surgery, a nasal brace will be applied to support the nose during the healing process, which involves a gradual reduction of swelling and bruising. The final result will be visible within a year.

Non-invasive solutions

This state-of-the-art technique allows you to improve the appearance of the nose thanks to hyaluronic acid infiltrations. The result will remain stable for about 12 months. The popularity of the Rhinofiller is constantly increasing and represents an excellent choice to make the bone hump less evident and to raise the tip in case of too short columella, however it should not be considered a real alternative to Rhinoplasty as the results that can be obtained are certainly smaller.

Simulation
